We’ve thoroughly enjoyed going through all your screenshots, videos, and the various reviews coming out of the PTU, especially from those of you getting behind the sticks of a Polaris or Starlancer for the first time! With the recent Alpha 3.24.2a patch (and a few hotfixes), we’ve seen some improvements in stability and performance, but there’s still work to be done to get things where we want them. We'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who’s jumped into both Live and PTU—our teams have been keeping a close eye, gathering data, and are actively working on additional fixes and improvements. We’re committed to making this experience even better, and your support makes all the difference.
Last week, we published the first edition of Comms-Dive, a new series designed to dive into hot topics and ongoing discussions within the community. We were super excited to kick this one off, and your response has been fantastic. The Community Team is currently going through your comments and threads to prep the next round, so keep the conversations flowing!
And last but certainly not least, we also announced the return of the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo (IAE), coming November 22! For those attending for the first time, the IAE is a celebration of the vehicles of the 'verse, where manufacturers showcase their ships on a rotating schedule. Not only can you check them out at the in-game convention hall, but you’ll also have the chance to take them for a spin yourself! Mark your calendars and get ready for the convention, contests, and ship-sized surprises!
Now, let's see what's going on this week
Monday, we've got a Q&A post on the MISC Starlancer TAC, constructed from the questions you all submitted on Spectrum. The post is live...right now!
On Tuesday, the Narrative team will publish a Whitley's Guide post on the Aegis Gladius, originally appearing in an issue of Jump Point.
Wednesday we will not have an update to the Roadmap as final checks for 4.0 are underway and no changes are being made at this time. We'll be back with our next update on the 27th.
This Thursday, Inside Star Citizen brings a behind the scenes look at our recent testing efforts on the Tech Preview channel.
Friday, Star Citizen Live broadcasts one hour later at 9 AM Pacific / 5 PM UTC on our Twitch Channel. Get your questions in on Spectrum as we're having members of our technology team on for a Q&A episode, following up on their CitizenCon presentation: Brave New Worlds. We'll also have our weekly newsletter arriving in your inboxes.
May your heart be your guiding key,
